Contact the users who have reblogged your post and ask them nicely to delete it as well. On the right side of the Tumblr dashboard, click Posts underneath the name of your blog. One of my friends asked me how to batch delete all of the posts on a Tumblr.

This tutorial will show you how.

Find the post you want to delete on your Tumblr page or dashboard. There are some PHP and Ruby scripts on the internet that claim to achieve this, but they seem to be outdated in regards to the Tumblr API, or they require installing some packages. Fortunately, deleting posts on Tumblr is quick and easy not that using Tumblr in general isn't, and you can even delete multiple posts at once. Well its not that hard at all as long as you are deleting a single Tumblr post at a time, but what if you want to delete multiple posts all at once on Tumblr. There are many reasons you may want to delete a Tumblr post - it doesn't look as good as you thought, you accidentally posted it, you've run into legal such as copyright issues, etc. Well if you are thinking to delete each Tumblr post one at a time, its probably going to take the whole day to remove them all. But luckily, this is a fairly easy thing to do.
Click Delete, then OK on the dialog box that pops up. This is the only way to make the content. See our How to Reblog on Tumblr tutorial for more about what reblogging is and how it works. This button is located in the upper-right corner, on the left of the blue Make a Post button. Before you post, make sure you're OK with the content being out there somewhere on the Web for years to come. You cannot delete posts that other Tumblr users have reblogged from one of your blogs.
