How to hide query string in url using jquery

Can anybody guide me how to append query string to current url using jquery but it should not get redirected to the new page. In this post, i will tell you how to get current URL with or without query string in jQuery.

I wanted to remove the query string from the URL.

I mean it should simply get appended to the current url. Check if radio button is checked or selected using jQuery. You may need current URL at the time of redirection or you can perform so many other task with current URL. I have tried the following code but it's not working.
